    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

Alright, thanks! I have a 20gal long set up now, so I'll have to switch over my fish to my 20gal tall. And take out the sand (which'll be fun :p)

    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

Splendid! And he accepted my offer of 90$ (: Now i gotta plan out on how to make a sump. Not having a filter releases some stress and somewhat amazes me.. did you use a website for a guide on your sump? I have some extra tanks lying around, so I can start making it now. What size sump should I...

    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

I did plan on making my own sump. Would I still need a filter with a sump? I wrote down this list for easy coals from LA. Green Polyp Leather (maybe.. somewhat unlikely) Long Polyp Leather Green Fluorescent Mushroom Lavender Mushroom Colony Polyp, multicolored Colony Leather Coral Plate Coral...

    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

    > The light is a 48" t5 odyssea. 216 watt light with 2 white and 2 blue bulbs along with moon lights. The light was bought brand new in April of this year and hasn't been used since the end of June. We moved up here from Florida and I sold my aquarium. Excellent light if you thinking if...

    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

Yeah, I have had both tanks and both are with freshwater fish. I'm going to sell my bowfront and gather up the equipment overtime for my tank. I'm about to get a T5 216 watt light from craigslist for 100$ so thats a good start! I have a lot to learn about saltwater, so I'll have to go verryyy...

    36gal bowfront or 55gal?

I plan to start a reef tank sometime next year, but as I look up the info for what I'll need, I suppose I'd like to get a few basic sayings from you guys. I have two options: a 55gal or my 36gal bowfront, both lowly stocked with freshwater fish and I plan to move all into one of them. I guess...

    5 gallon with Red Cherries

I'm planning to create a Red Cherry Shrimp tank for my 5 gallon once my 10 gallon is set up for my betta fish, but I was wondering on how many I could keep in there? I'm going to buy about 10 so they can easily breed and I can feed them to my fish. But fish I need to know my limit! I tried...

    new betta

Scared? Absolutely silly. Bettas don't like a strong current filter because it ruins their swimming. If you get a strong filter with the same current, its best to cover it with something so it doesn't cause trouble for your betta. That way you get a good filter, and you betta wont be bothered.

Commercial Grade Sand from Home Depot

QUIKRETE® - Sand - Commercial Grade I believe that is the correct link. I bought some of this sand for my 10 gallon, but didn't wash it. It didn't cloud my water or anything, and it looks pretty clear. No fish have been added yet; as I am a bit afraid. :p On the bag it says that it MIGHT...

    What do you think?

Looks wonderful! Love the full look of your plants. I am jealous that you can get your tank to look like that.. I have yet to have a beautiful tank.

Maybe a silly question but.. Home Depot gravel safe?

I have read that Organic miracle Gro is safe, and have read that the gravel should also be fine.

    DIY co2 disaster.

That's what I plan on doing now. Gonna just do a whole new landscape with my 20 gallon tomorrow. The stuff is so thick my bio-wheel wont even turn.. also gotta get a new filter bag. I'll be trying my dirt aquarium tomorrow instead of in a few weeks, then... then co2 when I know more about it...

    DIY co2 disaster.

I should have left about 3 inches from the top, yeah. But no check valve. o.- I heard they were good to use, but not necessary... I feel wrong about that now. :( Anyone know about the plants? Should I just try to scrub it off? It's plants like swords, cambonia, red luwigia, dwarf hair grass and...

    DIY co2 disaster.

I only have my iPod for photos, but I'm sure you can get the idea there. It doesn't get my plants too well, though... but whats floating in my 20 gallon is all over my plants that are just laying in my 15 gallon thats cycling. They are what I'm most worried about since they cost a lot of money. :S
