    Ich Defeated!

Thank you Mumma of 2!!!! and J!!! The ich has been destroyed!!! No more spots on my fish for the past 3 days they are swimming again, fins are full and moving, my black moor is already healing well! The increased salt for the goldfish worked amazingly well. Can't tell you how thankful I am for...

    Ich, might be better

Well it looks like something has changed. I increased the salt as Mumma of 2 had suggested, and the two in the larger tank have been swimming more frequently behaving naturally however they still have quite a few spots on their tails. I'm wondering if slowly they will begin to disappear as their...

Hey. There are only goldfish and no plants, and the one tank with the one goldfish is small but its only temporary because of the ich is a 5 gallon, the goldfish is also quite small maybe 2.5 inches maybe 3. The other two goldfish are in a 20 gallon.

    Ich

I only have goldfish suffering from ich. I have maybe a teaspoon a gallon of salt in each tank. I got worried that if I went with more it would affect their breathing. I have my black moor isolated in one tank and the other two in the other tank. I wish I could seperate all three but I can't.

Well I've done my best. I've been keeping up with the meds, the temp I can't do anything about, no extra heater, changing the water, etc but my goldfish keep getting worse. I heard about the parasite attaching itself on the fish in waves as you get rid of it but it just feels never ending. Maybe...

    First time Ich

Also a note for anyone else. Maybe you all knew how to do this but I just discovered a genius way to add salt without having to mix it in tank water first. Pour the Salt into one of your aquarium nets, small mesh advisably. and submerge it and just let it sit. You can actually visibly see the...

Many Thanks You've all been great. I think the only question currently is this. I know to much sea salt and to much copper, both, can be bad for freshwater fish. I was wondering if in the coppersafe aquarium adding a very very low dose of sea salt would at least help with the moors slimecoat. I...

    First time Ich

Read over every possible way to treat ick, raise temperature, natural sea salt, coppersafe, all other meds, I've got coppersafe in one tank, salt in the other, figured i'd have to develop my own opinions since the aquatic world is 50/50 on seemingly everything. My Black Moor is quarantined and...

Well My gourami passed away, but he was weak since the day I got him. The swordtails look healthy and are doing well. Oswald my Black Moor has gained a lot of energy and the other two golds still have the eggs but seem to be doing well so far with the salt water and are behaving normal for...

    Temps for tropic fish

The tank is also being treated with coppersafe, regular water changes, controlled feeding. I've read about salt and every other process on the known planet and every single process has a 50/50 following. It came down to me just making a decision. So to clarify my question is less about how to...

    Temps for tropic fish

My tropic tank has ich. One Blue Gourami and 3 swordtails. The temp is at 80 right now and they have been fine but I've read that ich can't survive in 86 degree temps. If the temp was gradually raised over a period of 5 days, would the fish be able to tolerate that temperature for a few days...
