I came into work this morning to find something interesting inside my tank. The picture below is the best I could get because the tank is at the corner of a wall. Is this what I think it is? I currently have Neons, Mollies, Zebra Danios, and a Betta.

I was thinking Filter, Heater, and Air Pump.

I am thinking about buying a UPS for power outages. Has anybody done this? I am curious as to how long it would run If I am just powering the essentials.

So far the crabs have kept to themselves. Since the tank is pretty tall I am hoping they will live in harmony.

A couple of days ago I noticed that the gills on my loaches were a reddish color. I got the amonia problem under control, but I am wondering if their gills are premanently damaged or will they eventually go back to normal. Thanks
