Cool guys. I think I'll research assassin snails and if My tank can handle them (which it should ... I have a 20 gallon long with the only Inhabitants being my six zebra danios) and their requirements dont look too harsh, then u can just pick one or two of them up.

Quick question here. So I now know that the Anubias rhizome is supposed to above the substrate so that it can get light. Is this an exception or is this true a requirement with most other plants as well?

Hey, does anyone have any experience using the NLS pellets for Danios? If so, what size and type are good? The reason I ask is they may be too big for my adolescent (about three months old) Danios...even the flakes I use sometimes are too big for them if I don't crush them up enough.

Hmm...maybe that's what happened. I don't think the water in my tank would have gotten below the bottom of the intake tube.

Update: My Anubias are actually fine, so ignore the above post :). The "dark patches" that I saw were actually just brown algae that was easily cleaned off of the leaves (I noticed this just now as today I did a big water change and cleaned my gravel and stuff). This is great news for...
