Hi All,
I have an opportunity to adopt this fish from someone who is relocating and needs to find a home for it. Wondering if it would be appropriate for my tank and be peaceful and safe. In my tank I have, pearl gourami, lots of assorted tetras, nerite snails, kuhli loaches Amano shrimp. Do...
Yes, thanks...afraid this was the deal. The store is to reopen by early January. Hopefully I can get him traded then. He is a beautiful fish, but certainly dominant. While the females are hiding, they do come out to eat and they seem not to be too stressed so far.
My question. I have bought a divider for my 55 g tank and put him in it to keep him separated. Any ideas on how long I will have to keep him in there so he won’t chase the others?

Story. I had a male gourami for 4 years who...

I like Amano shrimp too. Fun to watch. I feed mine every night after all lights off, a few crab bites and a couple of mini algae wafers just to make they get their fair share of food. I see them grab some and drag it away to eat. I have one which is quite large and has been in my tank I'm...
I think you are doing everything you can for your fish and you should feel proud of that. Honestly I have never had a fish live for very long after it once becomes sick but do all you can and see what happens. Keep us posted.
