Can I just place some java moss in the spawning tank for the fry? My LF ZDs spawned today morning(:king:), and I want to save all the 4-5 dozen eggs, if possible. What other care do I need to take while rearing them? All tips, big and small, new and repeated, are welcome. :)

Could you give more pointers? I know only a few grocery stores, and dont know anyone that would sell water for 39 cents. Could you be more specific about stores? Also, how can I make sure its RO/DI?

If after successfully keeping the Ph of spawning tank at 6.6, I introduce my neons at night, would this pose problems for them? Since they would be accustomed to Ph of 7.6 in main tank, and I am doing this suddenly at one night?

Hi All, My Ph readings of Main tank are 7.6 I am trying to breed neons. I have heard that they get triggered by lower ph range of 5.5-6.5 I also read that Vinegar can temporarily reduce Ph of the water. Has anyone tried this? Also, has anyone tried using Spawn-aid to spawn egg layers?

Could anyone guide me to buying plastic mesh? I want to breed my LF zebra danios and am looking for plastic mesh. I found a size 7 on ebay, but it might have too small holes for the eggs to fall through. Would this mesh be small enough for the eggs to fall through? Plastic mesh How...

Roughly 2-3 days to go for her. I wasnt sure about mine as well. But people told me she was ready to pop in a day or two. I got a 3-way breeder box and put her in on the third night, and had 6-7 fry that night.

I came across this product on walmart, and thought of using it as a moonlight, or even normal lighting for my 10g aquarium. It has a dimmer as well. Do you think this will save some power? I do not have any plants in my tank. Has anyone tried this product as a Semi-DIY for lighting?
