if you're familiar with rainbow bosemanii (sp?) . . . some mornings when i come downstairs the largest of the rainbows are very nearly navy blue on their front half . . . other times not. as they mature will this color remain constant? do you know how big these fish get?

thanks for the response. i think i'm only cleaning my pump maybe once a month. if you don't use charcoal, what do you put in the cylinder currently containing charcoal.

am i supposed to change out the charcoal each time?

exclusively under water? i've searched for "aquatic turtles" but, of course, get red-eared sliders and all the others who need to come to the surface to breathe. is there a downside to having turtles? do they tear up plants?

i have a 75-gal. tank 4 gouramis 2 rainbow sharks 1 red-tailed shark 4 tetras 3 rainbow bosemanii (sp?) 3 rainbow praecox 5 mystery snails (i also have four black mollies and two swordtails that i'm returning to the lfs this weekend) i don't know how i would know whether it's high or low...

i bought a bulb called "ultra sun" and that's all i have . . . should i have something else in addition?
