    Betta breeding!

Hi my friends betta had eggs and it's around 24 hours later and they haven't changed, should they be bigger by this stage as its hard to believe theirs a wee fish in there. I don't think they're anywhere near ready for a tail to burst out any advice from someone that's seen the eggs development

Anyone ever painted the back of their tank?

I used a sponge roller mate and as I said it bubbled up and it took me hours to get it back off. I went back to a brush after noticing the bubbles and flattend them all out. Once it was dry it looked great. Put my light on and all of a sudden the bubbles had left there Mark and it was horrible.

    has my cycle stalled

Ph is usually near seven as I stay in Scotland and we have no problems in attaining fresh water lol. I'm going to skip the flora boost as the water in my tank has been Brown for two days now. I don't have denominator at the moment so will get some and start again

Anyone ever painted the back of their tank?

I didn't have a great experience painting mine and it took me three hours picking it off. It can look lovely when done right. My tank looked lovely until I put my light on and I found my blue paint turned looked brighter and there were black marks or cracks forming. I think black would be best...

I would put my ammonia in until it went to 4ppm. My tank would use all this in two days. I got plants and added them and they started to die off...

    Fish keep dying

Most of fishkeeping is trial and error. I'm sure someone with co2 experience will be able to tell you how to fond an equilibrium point

    Fish keep dying

Did you not have an aerator before, if not it's possible. I haven't used co2 before but it definitely sounds like a lack off oxygen. You'll need to find a balance that suits fish and plants. Have you got a specimen plant that requires large amounts of co2. I prefer having the fish provide the...

Sounds fine to me mate. If your wood sinks you are good to go. Check if the stones have veins running through them. If they do it could leech metal into the water.apart from that good work
