    Petsmart plants

    Most my plants are "tube" plants and DHG from Petsmart. Have had them a year now and they are doing fine.

    I run six of the Grobeam 500's and really like them. Due to having only one tank I can spend more on equipment I really want. And yes, get a dimable unit.

    FYI Responsible Plant Keeping

    Well there would be lots of fertilizer down there, but no light! I don't think plants could grow in a septic tank.

    I run six AquaRay Globeam 500's that i'm very happy with. Use to have two T5 HO lights. (Really i had four T5's but was way to much light for a 100 gallon tank).

    I planted over 30 Vallisneria along the back to help hide some of the blue. At this time they are doing more multiplying than growing.

    Yes Bearchumis, it's acrylic. Got it many years ago to be a saltwater tank. Now I wish it didn't have the blue background. Oh well........
