PWC Yes, I'm trying to cycle it. OK, I'll continue with the PWC's. I was under the impression it only took 2-3 weeks to cycle but I'll keep at it ad infinitum until cycled. It must take longer with frogs. Thanks much. :D

Hi all, I have had 2 ADF's in my tank for a week and no Nitrites or Nitrates. Just a climbing and sinking 1.0ppm Ammonia max. I have been doing 20-30% PWC's every other day and I just added the second 'bacteria ball'. Beneficial, of course. It seems no Nitrates are being produced at all...

My 2 ADFs have been in for a week and still no cycling in Nitrites or Nitrates. But, I brought down the Ammonia from 1.0ppm yesterday to 0.5ppm today and treated again with Prime on top of yesterday's 50% PWC. There's been bacteria supplemented into the tank all week, so I'm not sure why...

Thanks, I appreciate the information on the canister placement, I'll do that too. I'm in an apartment, however, and can't test it outside. I'm on the third floor, so I'm a bit paranoid about the water thing. I didn't think a crack could appear so quickly the first time I tried.
