    CAE: Very Strange Behavior, Help?

    My CAE is somewhat tame, only about three inches long. Stays relatively quiet until any of my 10 or so Flying foxes comes near it, in which case the CAE chases them away with great tenacity. never seen such bizzare behavior though.

    nice guess, but my pH of the tap water here is naturally at about an 6.8-7.0 Hmm, i wonder what could be the problem..

    I use the same gravel that I use in my other established 110 gallon tank It has never altered pH before. Thanks anyway any other suggestions?

    I am in the process of cycling a small 10 gallon tank. I have placed two siamese flying foxes in the dechlorinated water and have set up all necessary equipment. At placement into the tank, my pH registered at about a 7 (neutral). Less than a week later, the pH was about a 7.6 possible...
