After I read your post above I took out the eggcrate and they were fine.. No more chasing.. They eat side by side now.. Good news. And my new snowflake seems to be doing just fine as well!

Will a stars and stripes puffer be ok with a lion? My lion is chasing it every once and a while, will the stop or should I do something about it? I mean the puffer is by far to big to eat.

It is weird tho since the puffer was doing no damage to him then all of a sudden half of the limb was bitten off and moving around on the ground. DO they loose parts of the legs like that? Or does it deff sound like the puffer did it? I mean the puffers mouth is not even big enough to fit around...

Just curious but what if I mixed the remaining 60 g of salt when I get the tank today and just add it in. Will that work? Will that be ok? That way the tank will be up and running today with the fish in it.
