I used the glass trick catching probably 5-6 crabs over time. To keep fish from eating it I'd wrap the rock in netting so they couldn't just yank the hunk of food from the rock, worked decently well.
You could also try using a red flashlight at night and a nice sharp stick. Some people don't...

On my 95g tank I was using a ESU 2x150w HQI retro w/ 2 96w pc's. I was using XM 20k's and have now switched to two Sunlight Supply Lumen Max reflectors with XM 10k's(out of phoenix 14k's but I'll switch in a few weeks) Was going to use...
IMO the only way you could consider getting away with it would be to use some really good reflectors like the Sunlight Supply Lumen Max reflectors, they cover a ridicolous area.
Agreed...but I'm not sure 10k's w/ two T5's would give me the color I want. I think I'm going to go w/ 2 phoenix 14K 250's and then add the T5's if necessary to get me more towards the 20k range.
