Just checked on and released my new auratus into my tank...i think he may not quite have been acclimated when i initially put him in been sitting on the floor for an hr watching him and my other fish settling things out among themselves...they're all realitivy new to my tank except for my cranky...

In my honest personal opinion yes you tank may be too short to fully enjoy the beauty of a happy angelfish (i have also made my mistakes in this hobby and have not only learned from them but have done what you are doing and asked questions here and on other forums to learn things as well). Hmmm...

The cory cats will have no trouble, the angels however i wouldn't as yes they do need a tall tank and they also can get to be around 6" total length. I have a full grown angel in my 26g bowfront (24L x 24H x 16d), and her body alone is the size of my palm and dorsal tip to anal tip she's @ least...

Definitely getting rid of the stand, its completely useless with that bad of a warp in the top. As for the tank I might try selling it, maybe someone can put a bit of sealant in the deep scratch and use it or use it for a lizard or something as I have no room to keep it and use it in my apartment.

Upgraded my 20g tall to a 26g bowfront over the weekend due to a rather deep scratch in the glass in the 20 that was making me nervous, found out after the fact the the 20's stand had was warping worse than we had thought and looked as if it would have broken in the next few months. Nothing today but added 3 green tiger barbs, 3 Australian rainbows and an Odessa Barb to my 20g

Not much besides feedings, but have found out that we have @ least 6 new guppy fry in our guppy tank

Hmm possibly again I have no experience with any sa or ca cichlids besides my angel, but I'll keep googling I think we're on the right track with the parachromis species

Not 100% but it kind if looks like a Parachromis Dovii juvenile aka the wolf cichlid. Unsure because I haven't much experience with SA cichlids, maybe another user can verify if I was correct or not
