Hello everyone thank you for stopping in to throw any advice at me that you may have! I have two dwarf gourami and the smaller one of the two (I think it might be a female) seems to have something wrong with her mouth. It just looks almost like her upper lip was nipped and now missing if that...
Well I just night put those pigeon spikes all through the flower bed since our dogs like digging in there and now started jumping in the pond, good thing there aren't any fish in there now! Well until we get more fish we have some major changes to make...something keep dogs/predators out...
We were wanting to get a crawfish or one of those small blue lobsters...any suggestions? We have one Molly, 2 Gourami, and 2 Platy in a 29 gal with plenty of hiding places. I want something else in there that will be neat to look at but not eat our fish so any advice would be great on what new...
My boyfriend has done pump and wells practically since he could walk and he has never heard of an aerator that hooks up to the water supply coming into your house.. Try doing a little more info on that one. We also live in Fl and have well water and my fish tank levels are perfect. Good luck...
The shark found a new home...he was chasing everyone in the tank. Probably because like you said they need 55 gal min. Which we didn't realize when we bought him..now he is in a much bigger tank. Thank you :)
I have one other question about the salt... Is this something I need to constantly do or just when they seem a little down? The box I bought said to add 1tbs per 5 gallons so that's what I did and they are all very lively today.
Well we solved our issue with the rainbow shark...he stressed out my molly and started chasing all of the other fish as well, as if he were bigger then them! Anyway he found a new home..we really like the rainbow sharks, might have to get a tank specifically for them! :D we are going to try the...
Problem solved! Water test showed water was perfect...I added the salt to the tank and the last Molly is now swimming around like she was never sick! Happy happy! Thank you all! :)
Well I will take a sample to the pet store only because it's a 40 minute drive an would be a pain to drive there to get a test kit then drive all the way back to get whatever we need to fix the issue...will the salt hurt the Rainbow shark or Gourami? If not I will add a tablespoon to the tank...
We are going to take a water sample to Petco today to have it tested That way we can get whatever it is we need to fix this problem while we're there! Thank you for your help :)
Well that is what we will do then! I woke up this morning and the one Molly that is left is starting the aimless swimming now...time to go to the pet store! Could this be that livebearer disease, since it's only effecting the Molly fish in my tank? Just curious. Thanks!
We have an approximately 6x4x2.5 ft pond with a waterfall in front of our house, it was here when we moved on so we cleaned it out and filled it and all of that fun stuff and even put 3 fish in it. Well the water seems to get very warm due to lack of shade and us living in Florida! We talked...
