Yes that would be correct, I actually figured out the issue, it seemed that the tubing I had used was too worn out and not tight enough the hold co2 in at the diffusor, it works fine now with new tubing. Thanks for the response.

My CO2 diffusor is having difficulty with intaking CO2, the diffusor refuses to accept co2 and most co2 pushed into the diffusor is released as shown in the picture, the circled area is where co2 bubbles are leaking from. Ive been preparing some driftwood I bought from a local fish store for a few days by leaving all of it in a tub of hot not boiling water. The water is very clear and the driftwood sinks, is this driftwood safe enough to put in my tank now or should I follow any extra precautions?

I have a filter which I let algae build up on for a long while, a little too long as now I cant get some of it off using a toothbrush. I was just wondering if anyone knew a better way to get this difficult algae off. Im using a hang on the back filter. Thanks
