well according to the link you sent me they look like the Copepod.. Im glad there harmless.. just wondering how they showed up...

I changed my filter cartridge today and noticed Shrimp like creatures living in the filter.... Any thoughts of what theses things are? How did I get them? Are they bad for the tank? This is a fresh water tank.

Well I got board and didnt want to spend 150 bucks on a stand. So I went to the garage and found some scrap lumber and began building.... overall it cost me 40 bucks and about 6 hours. No plans just wung it... Although I do still have to stain the doors
