I felt a little pressure from Ziggy last night in the chat room, lol - so today I did a little research ! Would this fixture be an upgrade to my current PC 4-65 watt fixture? I know the wattage is less but overall would it be a better unit ? The price isnt bad at all, Would there be any limits...

    SW Aquarium Books

I second James's reccomendation of "The Reef Aquarium" volumes 1-3. I have purchased all three and while somewhat on the expensive side they are by the far the best resources I have as far as books go !

How can we make these things work ? Seems like after a couple months whether it be your powerheads our your heaters the suction cups no longer want to work. interesting idea ! live rock rubble will work, crushed coral maybe - to be honest im not sure how good it would be at housing bacteria (I personally think lr rubble would be much better) but maybe someone else will chime with a better answer for you .

    Algae blenny?

fish and inverts generlly are not the answer for algae problems. Did you try removing as much algae as possible before you added the rock to your tank? Try and remove as much of it as possible and keep your water paramaters pristine, thats your best course of action

Help= I'm on the fence about what to do about Ich

If the outbreak is not the bad and you keep your water conditions in the main pristine along with keep your fishes bellies full with food soaked in garlic and selcon you could go without having to go through the hypo. I know a lot of people on this site will disagree with me but I had a mild...

Can anyone help me with SLOW coraline algae growth?

as far as the ph goes, I dont believe anyone mentioned this yet but you said you checked it right before the lights came on. Your reading will generally be a little low at that time so I would check it right before your lights go out, you will get a better reading at that time. As far as...
