I just replaced my Rio pump with a Mag 5 and the Mag is so noisy that it's driving me crazy. The pump is brand new and I have a piece of filter pad under it to absorb some vibration. Any ideas on how to quiet it down or should I just return it? Thanks for looking. Sent from my SM-G900V using...

I had this problem with my HOB overflow,and a ball valve between the overflow and sump did the trick. After you install it just adjust the flow till the gurgling sound stops. Sent from my SM-G900V using Aquarium Advice mobile app
