Almost positive it's a white gourami pearl gouramis have very different coloration and even if they were pale would still have the black marks.

Hey I was cleaning out my garage and found my old box of sea shells and dried star fish and was thinking how nice they would look in my tank... Question is is it safe to use real sea shells and dried starfish in a freshwater tank?

Tiger barbs are fine with anything that isn't a slow swimmer and doesn't have big fins

I have never bothered trying since my fish have been fine. But if you did aim on lowering your ph how would you do it? Always wondered that...

the neon will survive temps above 77 for a couple weeks while you kill the ich. i wouldn't go above 82 AND use meds at the same time though unless you have some really good aireation happening in there though. 82 with meds or at least 86 without meds

i think it will be fine, maybe do an extra water change on the 5.5 gallon tank during the week and you shouldn't have any problems

The sticky side up tape works cats hate stepping on sticky stuff they hate stepping on tin foil too so could cover with that but the tape stays there easier

I was given a 10 gallon that was really crusty before not knowing this fancy vinegar trick i cleaned it by using a razor blade on the glass and the hood and fitration system i clean with CLR then i let them soak in clean water in the bathtub for a day changing the water a couple times and rinsed...

And if you do have to eventually replace the bio part what i do is remove the carbon or what ever you have replaced it with before and move the old bio down to where the carbon was and put the new bio on top so the water flows from old bio to new making for fast seeding not sure this is...

Ok i will try the half dose of medicine. My heater is a little undersided for my tank (200w instead of 300w) so at full heat setting tank goes to 82degrees only. So ill see how well the pictus respond to the half dose of medicine and if they start not doing well ill go get a bigger heater and...
