    In my humble opinion, soaked enough, it stays down.. Soak it for at least a week!! Changing the water. I wasn't so patient.. but that was the advice I got.

    Beautiful **** things.Will get my son to upload..AGAIN:) U can oggle! Hey, heres one.. A friend had been away, and his tank was a mess and clouded up,(overfeeding, and no water-changing..)The Discus laid eggs!!:huh: WHY???

    thankyou, and you may well be right.. Tho, I am finding my Pakistani loaches keep tailing my Discus..so maybe nipping at my Bettas..:blink:

    My tank was set up in an emergency... the filters, gravel etc were used,(rinsed, but defo not washed.) and I put in "Cycle." I know this is bad, but leaving my fish as they were was worse.. The Discus were a greedy buy..:oops I am still learning, and my impulsiveness does NOT help:oops...

    Carbon also isn't normally necessary unless you are removing meds, so you can consider just buying a sheet of filter media that you cut to size and stick in it's place to save some $. Just keep doing pwc's with Prime to keep levels as low as possible until the tank re-stabilizes. Fantastic...
