My little 30 g tank with two different batch of electric yellow from same parents! Sad though the dad recently passed and mother was carrying but think she swallowed them .. :((

Uh oh lol jk hybrids are pretty nice sometime too usually the male will be the one that is still shakin all over the tank or he would be digging caves or holes.. Usually takes 2-3 weeks but i fee them like 2-3 times a day and kept light on 24/7 with tempture at 76-78 F

When i strip the mom i started feeding from first day you hve to try and shoot te food at them near them as i learned otherwise they wont come to top and feed.. Was that her first cycle? Usually they dont know how to spit out! I stripped my cichlid after 22 days she may have spit them under rock or cave the male made! Check your tank!

I have strictly african and notice keeping the same breed of fish either one or two groups together but yet i only have 20 and 30 g set up so bigger tank u can prob go with a few more variety of groups but i would suggest having more than just one of a kind try goin with 2-3 of each group and...

It depends on how many fry she is holding

Mouth brooders usually wont eat and you will see the male start to make caves and be protective of the female. It usually takes 21 days or more for fries to develop and mom will either spit them out or hold in mouth depends

I keep both mine maintain at 76f n they stay pretty calm no problems but once starts peeking higher they become aggressive
