I will deffinetly not treat my tetras unless I see something pop up so I may remove them and put them in the 20 then treat the rest of the tank because I love my emperor tetras and they were very hard to find for me at least same with the congos
I will remove any fish that looks sick and put them in the 20. Could I do a water change on my 75 tomorrow and put the water into the 20 so that I have some bacteria built up then treat?
I have 7 emperor tetras and 2 Congo tetras in there but no loaches I have 5 plecos not common plecos the smaller varieties and I have a Raphael catfish that also looks very sli, granted I don’t always see him suppose he could’ve been like that for a while
So the tank is just over a month old I moved all fish from 20 gallon into this which is a 75 gallon have ended up donating a few fish and getting different ones everything except the rams and some tetras have been in ever since. But like I said in the other thread I did recently have my heater...
I bought the tank on Black Friday I moved all bio media including gravel from my 20 gallon. My 20 gallon had about 5-6 inches of gravel so a lot of bio there. But I added more gravel and I do gravel vac and 30-50% water changes every 7-9 days. Will that fungus spread to other fish then?
Haha I was like what is that but any idea on what’s going on? I think something with slime coat on the black angels. On the whites it’s almost like ammonia poisoning but my ammonia has been no more than .25 ppm in the past month.
I’m not really sure what is going on I have two black angelfish that both look like they are almost losing their slime coat if that makes sense.
These two white angelfish will only come to the top to eat otherwise just stay in the corner with pinned fins.
