try a goldfish

Anyone have tufa stone in thier tank ? I had it and i think its the cause of my algae and phosphates. i removed it and now no algae...?

www.petswarehouse.com has live base rock for 3.99 a lb.. i have 15 lbs.a of it and its has purple and pink and green all over it. looks great. but i live 30 mins. away from it so i went there and picked my own out.

I'm interested in starting a 15 gallon planted tank. I have the basic stuff(tank,hood,filter,heater).Do planted tanks need different light than regular freshwater tanks ? What type of water parameters do I need for a planted tank ? What temp. for planted tanks ?

the min. tank size for one is 100 gallons. might be ok if with just one or 2 other smaller fish.

you think you could qt the eggs ? something in the tank might get the eggs or fish when they hatch..

Rinse it with vinegar also rinse with tap water before and after each use.

IMO I would try to get all juvenile ones.
