I was offered a sunset platy from my brother, but he only wants to give me one. Would the little guy be okay by himself? I have two mollies and three guppies in my tank.

I just set up a 10 gallon, freshwater aquarium yesterday. I used sand for the terrain, but forgot to rinse the sand before I added all the water to it. :facepalm: I put the sand in around 7pm last night and this morning at 10am the water is still very cloudy. The filter didn't run last night...

My aquarium has sand for the terrain. I was wondering if this limits my selection of bottom dwelling fish (plecos, cory catfish), or if the fish will still be healthy and fine with a sand bottom. Thanks :)
