How long of a life span does live rock have in a fish only tank? I do not have the lights for coral. I ask because I got a red scooter bleeny for Christmas and am concerned if he is finding anything to eat. He does pick at the rocks.

I have a 30 gal tank and I had just on peppermint shrimp and it never came out of hiding except at night. I recently added two more and now the single guy comes out all the time with the other two.

So, if I treat the fish for ich in the quarantine tank will I still have ich in my main tank? If so what do i do about that.
