If you have enough zoos who cares if he eats them, right? That's the whole trick. Odds are, he's going to bite your corals tho. Beautiful fish but meant for the ocean/fishonly/big *** tanks.
ah i guess he means the fuge has a much better at keeping water quality pristine for this fish. I know my friend had one for about a week. It broke out in Ich and died promptly. After eating his zoos. Lol.
Amazingly pretty fish though. It has that large angel look contained in a dwarf angel.
sounds good. I have 14 K, it is a little bluer. You can google it and see pics of bulb comparisons; not only k rating but different brands look different.
make sure you are getting good water surface agitation. That is what gives it the shimmer looks as well. Point a powerhead up at the...
hmm they don't? T5 is newer technology than PCs.
I have an aquactinics 48" 2x250w MH and 2x54w T5 lamps with 2 LED moonlights and its awesome. Very pleased.
I don't see why you heard you need a refugium. This fish does not eat copepods. This is a fish that will absolutely eat your zooanthids and nip at corals. That is the thing to consider. If you are building a fish only system, this fish needs lots of live rock to feel "at home". No refugium...
bacteria in a bottle is lame. A better strategy is to buy cured live rock from all sorts of different regions (Fiji, Tonga, etc.) to sample all different kinds of microorganisms in your tank.

Some corals extend feeders during the night after extending light gathering polyps during the day. An example of this would be a trumpet or candy...
you want to keep him well fed to make sure his immune system has the best chance of healing him. Don't cut feeding, he needs more food than ever because the parasites are stealing sustenance from him. Use garlic on your food as well. Garlic extract drops boost immune function.
I don't know...
i don't think it is overkill if you want to keep SPS corals.
I wouldn't use PC for actinic supplementation, I would use T5. More efficient and much less heat. With this kind of firepower, though, you may need to also include a chiller in your system to keep from temperatures getting too...
