Do I need to remove all the fish from my main tank? I have removed the one's displaying ICH but I left in 3 others (mainly because I can't catch them) and they don't seem to have any white spots on them.

That would be a personal preference. I chose to go with a green BTA simply because I like green better than red.

I have a BTA and it's been doing fine for almost 1 month. My tank is only 4 months old. I do have MH lighting though (6.6 WPG)

I'm running 2 MH bulbs on a 5 foot tank and the coverage is just fine for me. I can post a pic if you like. I'm using tube bulbs. The bulbs are about 14in above the water line however, the closer to the water, the less coverage you'll see.

Yes, I have an open back. I will have all 4 fans blowing in. 1 at each corner of the tank blowing towards the middle. I'll let you know how much my temp drops. It's roughly at 84deg at the end of my 6 hour MH cycle.

Let's say that someone (me) is only home for 4 - 6 hours a day MAX. I've heard that you only need to run your MH for 6 hours a day to get their effect. Is this true. Do I need a longer lighting schedule? I am not housing any corals right now, but I will be in the near future.
