quick hijack.....at what rate do the ro/di untis normally dispense water? i hooked mine up yesterday and it is barely trickleing out. at this rate it would take a day or two to fill my resevoir. is it normal for them to flow so slow?

i just bought a coralife 76002 ro/di unit with a 30 gallon res.(trash can), a float valve installed and a rio 2100. along with a bunch of hose. i paid 80.00 bucks for all of it, is that a good deal or did i get "hosed" (pardon the pun)? unfortunatley i dont know how to install any of this stuff...

you just shoot some jj into their mouths before they can close up on you and they will dissapear. i had two on a new piece of lr, i juiced them and they retracted down into the rock never to be seen again. now i use the syringe to spot feed, until i need it again.

my lfs says they have never drip acclimated ANYTHING in the last 30 years. he says they float everything. i still do a drip on more sensative pieces but it's only about an hour max. i also then float the bag and stab holes in it to allow cross flow for about 15 min. works so far...KNOCK ON WOOD.
