Sick German Blue Ram female sitting on bottom of tank

Thanks for the advice. Literally seconds after I had posted this thread, I looked up and she was out of the cave. I now cannot find here anywhere. How do you lose a fish in a tank?? Going to wait a while and see if I can see her and try and separate her and turn off the lights. Rams don't...

Sick German Blue Ram female sitting on bottom of tank

Hi everyone I'm really worried about my GBR. She's been sitting on the bottom of the tank for 3 days now, breathing heavily. She's gone very dark in colour and she's not eating. She's not moving very much, and when I tried to coax her to swim she just sank back down to the bottom without...

    Help in identifying eggs

Thanks Andy! I haven't seen any other snails in the tank and I hope the eggs didn't come with the plant as it's fake ;-) I've heard snails can keep fertilised eggs dormant inside them for ages and release them when the conditions are right. The problem is I saw what this type of snail's eggs...

    Help in identifying eggs

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and wanted to get some help in identifying what I think are eggs in my freshwater aquarium. I discovered them today and it looks like a jelly-like mass on my silk plants, all clumped together and a pale yellow colour. Fish in aquarium: 2 splendid rainbowfish...
