How many hermit crabs and snails are reccomended for a 29 gal tank?

Thanks for such quick replies - now its as clear as mud :lol: I may try to make some of the homemade food, I'm always up for some DIY projects! I do have a bit of algea growth on the live rock and several feather dusters. When I do get a shrimp are the dusters going to be safe?

Good idea on the check valve for the return line. The two valves on the pump return would be for flow control, I could reduce the flow to the tank and open the valve for the return to the sump and not increase the back pressure on the pump too much. As for the UV, it would not be on the drain...

Hi- I was wondering if it would be OK to attach some rubber feet using some stainless steel screws to the pump that is in my sump?

I've been drinking my RO/DI water for months, tastes fine to me. Is there something I need to know about the DI portion of the filter?
