I have question regarding co2 injection timing.
I have chemical DIY co2 system, citric acid and soda bicarb. Co2 is diffuser is ceramic disc type.

i have green hair algae in my tank and its very bad. My tank is medium planted tank. i have reduced the lighting also. I have used "algaefix" yesterday and still cannot see the algae reducing. The water has turned a bit cloudy now.

From my first impression, i think the light is very less. the CFL bulbs do not give sufficient light. well why don't you use the 4 feet tubelights which are locally available. you must use 2 tubelights of 4 feet long.
Thanks for reply, so I think it would not matter much. But it can be used to add phosphate. In pps pro method the mono potassium phosphate is used in very small quantities as compared to potassium nitrate and potassium sulphate.
so very less of ammonia would be present

thanks for your reply .well I was just trying to experiment with the fertiliser granules in a glass of water. does the osmocote granules also dissolve in the same way. can anyone share some thoughts.:)
