From my first impression, i think the light is very less. the CFL bulbs do not give sufficient light. well why don't you use the 4 feet tubelights which are locally available. you must use 2 tubelights of 4 feet long.

thanks for your reply .well I was just trying to experiment with the fertiliser granules in a glass of water. does the osmocote granules also dissolve in the same way. can anyone share some thoughts.:)

i live in dubai UAE. i wanted to buy the PPS-PRO fertilizer kit which is available in US from "green leaf aquarium" site. but this kit contains potassium nitrate, which a banned substance in dubai. can anyone advice any alternate for that.:)
