    Yoyo loaches or cories?

Either will work, though you'd need to do Corys that can handle temps in the upper 70s that the rest of your stocking will demand. Many species do, but some do not. Personally, I'd be inclined to do Zebra Loaches instead of Yo-Yos in that tank. The footprint of a 55 is only 12" deep and Yo-Yos...

Those Endlers look awesome. I'll have to try some one day.

    Stocking Advice: 40B

I'd do 15 or so Rummys. They shoal tightly and look great on larger numbers. Also, Rummys need heavily planted tanks to feel safe. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Serpae Tetras w/ Angelfish???

I've heard success stories of Serape with numerous species, and I've heard stories of disaster as well. Can work and will work are two different things. One thing that I do know is that Serpae need a lot of space if they're going to peacefully coexist with tankmates. So, if you have a 90 gallon...

    Serpae Tetras w/ Angelfish???

They're generally not considered as bad as Tiger Barbs, but they're not too far behind. I've never kept Serpae, but have heard stories about them attacking Corys, despite being in spacious tanks and in shoals of 10+. There seems to be a lot of variability and dependence on tank space, plant...

    Serpae Tetras w/ Angelfish???

Oh, hell no. Those angels will get torn to pieces. In fact, I'd highly recommend Serpaes in a species-only tank. They might be OK with very nocturnal species such as Kuhli Loaches or Clown Plecos but, even in large tanks, I've heard too many horror stories about them.

    20 Gallon High SA Tank

When they're not hunkering down in the back of the tank, yes. They look great during feeding time. I have no idea why they're so shy. Black sand, black background, lighting is a single white LCD strip, and a third of the tank is covered with floating plants, I have plenty of hiding spots, etc...

Nice CRS! I will have to try a shrimp tank one of these days.

    20 Gallon High SA Tank

Thanks! Current stocking is: 19 Green Neons 6 Three-lined (Leopard) Cory 6 Marbled Hatchets 1 Clown Pleco (L104) I do one 30% WC per week and, despite the pleco and general overstocking, I have yet to hit 10 ppm nitrate in this tank. Must be the Hornwort.

    20 Gallon High SA Tank

The Green Neons have been hanging out low and behind the tree root feature, so I added some Marbled Harchets to jazz up the top of the water column. Added a few more plants as well. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Options on re-homing my Pleco

And if that doesn't work, you could just donate it to your LFS. A replacement pleco that would fit your tank, such as a Clown or BN, would cost under $10.

    Leopold's Angelfish

Good to hear, thanks. I've read that they max out at about 4" long. Has that been your experience? Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice

    Leopold's Angelfish

I've been looking around for a single centerpiece fish for my 29 and noticed that the Wet Spot has wild-caught Leopold's Angelfish (a.k.a. Long Nose Angelfish, P. leopoldi) in stock. This smaller species would likely be a better fit for a 29 than the ubiquitous P. scalare. Does anybody have...
