I've just checked my tank and one of my guppies has died!

Main ingredients are ethacridine lactate , copper sulphate and proflavine hemisulphate . On my 3rd round of treatment and there has been no improvement in the bump at all. The fish still seems healthy and eating but this growth is now as big as it's head!

I have now done 2 x 3 day treatments of Esha and there has been no improvement. Does anyone have any idea what this bubble like growth could be or any success in treating it? Thanks

Ok so if I decided against the dwarf gourami, how many tetra/ guppies could I have? I would quite like to get more guppies.

So 1 dwarf gourami, 5 tetra and 2 guppies would be overstocked?

Well that's reassuring. I guess if I get two that are already in the same tank at my lfs and appear to get along that would be a good option. Saying I do get one or two dwarf gourami, how many other fish could I have in the tank? I have neons and guppies currently.

Opinion about this is very mixed. My mum has 3 and they don't get along but I suspect her tank is overstocked so I am trying to convince her to rehome some. I don't want to make the same mistake.
