I believe they are reef safe, I've seen some pin cushion urchins in reef tanks and I've thought about getting one.

So far I have spotted 3 small heads of it

I got new live rock yesterday and noticed aiptasia on it...I've never dealt with it before and I have mushroom coral in the tank...not very far away, its not in its reach from what I can see. What is the best and safest way of geting rid of it?? Thanks

but the water level in the tank never drops, iv got it measured yet the third chamber loses 4 cups in 3 days. I've chcked for leaks and everyting

yea I see that now. its a family owned buisness and the employee that told me that is the guy I've gone to for everything and everythings hes said has been right or helpful...except that part. I'm going in tomorrow and while I'm there I'll ask about that. This was before I signed up here.

I've got a 29 gallon Oceanic BioCube and in the 3rd chamber where the pump is the water level keeps going down every few days I have to fill it up or it will pump out micro bubbles, anyone else experience this? It didnt do this in my 14 gallon oceanic biocube. The water level in the tank doesn't...

I see you have a deep sand bed, I only put two small bags of live sand in my 29 gallon biocube, I like the way the deeper sand bed looks but my the guy at my LFS store suggested just the two bags and that I don't need alot of sand. what are the pros and cons of having one?

well...this may explain why my mushroom coral isn't doing so well.

Its on a live rock towards the middle of the tank, I have a 29 gallon oceanic biocube, two 34 watt coral life lights but am useing one at the moment, I have been useing both but was told it only needs medium light.
