i believe that my first goby could have died of natural causes, but im curious on why my second goby died. he died in 2 weeks. i have sand.

i checked my water parameters not too long ago, and everything was fine (based on the chart). what do you mean by sand substrate? i had the tank for about 2 years now and my previous goby was very active and was always out and about, which is why his death was a surprise.

thanks for the advice hara. i'm guessing the LFS store guy told me the coral food was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED because he wanted to make an extra buck then.

thats a litle strange that you can't find the goby. my goby is the most active fish in my tank. sometimes it takes a day or two for the fish to get used to the tank and they don't eat right away. also, being "shy", might just be the fish's personality. my maroon clown NEVER comes out from out...
