i was thinking of just doing a drip into the tank of about one drop per second from a water bottle... do you think that would be enough to keep up with evaporation?
thanks, in your experience do you think that one drop per second will be enough to a. keep the salinity down, and b. not use up the entire water bottle over the course of three weeks or so?
just got back from my LFS, got an auto feeder and they told me i could use a water bottle with a tube and valve to control the drip for an auto top off.. does that sound like a reasonable idea?
well small problem.. for those 10 days, no one at all will be with the tank.. i personally won't be there for three weeks and i have someone who is going to take care of the tank for the whole time excluding 10 days where they will be gone for the holidays.. can i get an auto top off device and...
I am going away and for 10 days this month my tank will be unattended. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on how to feed my fish in my 14gallon nano cube while I am away.. I already have timers on the lights and hopefully my cleanup crew will keep things under control when I am...
is it possible that they may hatch into new snails? or is that a long shot in captivity.. is there anyway to set the conditions so that there is a greater chance of that happening (i could use some new snails anyway)

not to hijack the thread but I am also curious about moving.. if i have to move my tank from southern california to northern california would i just follow the same steps and put it all in the car and go? its about a 7 hour drive..
quick question.. i hadn't ever really looked, but i just noticed that my two O. clowns seem to "sleep" vertically in the corner of the tank together. is this normal? i am just curious about their behavior patterns
thanks!!
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what else I could add successfully to my 14 gallon nano-cube. I currently have two O. Clowns in there (which I know I will have to move to a bigger tank once they get bigger), some hermit crabs and snails..
I just have some live rock and sand in there...
