My local aquarium store can only gets it very tiny tetras(1/4 inch or so). What is a good way for me to increase there size befor adding them to my main tank? I am worried they are small enough to be eaten by my other fish but I would like a nice shoal of tetras in my aquarium as dither fish.

Ended up buying some neodynium magnets and am going to coutersink drill the wood and use marine grade epoxy to set them in the wood... will post updates

Recently aquired a tank with a home made sump. Didn't have a chance to talk to previous owner about how to set up filter/bio media. How should I set this up to function efficently for fresh water? I would like to make use of the k2 media and ceramic tubes/bio balls (will I need more?)...
