    sword tails being killed.

Water quality is good. Ph is 7.2, ammonia 0, nitrates 0, nitrites 0. That was the first thing i thought of. Some of the tiger barbs have torn fins also. Swords seem to be dieing about one a week for the past three weeks. All have been missing tails and fins.

    New 29 FOWLR?

Thanks for the replies. I may have to rethink this whole Salt Water thing. May have to stick with fresh water.

    New 29 FOWLR?

Contemplating setting up my 29 gallon tank. Do I really need to use R0 / DI water? My Lfs gives the ro water away its just that it seems to be a long drive for 25 plus gallons (25 miles one way).

    goldfish did what?

I know about the stocking issues.(daughters tank, daughter put in what she wants) Hard to explain to her they don't belong together. Ph7.2 Ammonia. 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 5 I do the tank maintenance on the fish tanks its the only reason I noticed any thing was wrong.

    goldfish did what?

I was wondering if a goldfish would eat a zebra danio? My daughters tank had bunch of danios and a comet goldfish. I say had because there are two danios missing and one that is missing its entire tail.

    New to the site

Hi, Although I am new to this sight, I have been lurking for awhile now. I am just getting back into this hobby (obsession) after a break for few years. Starting slow with two 10 gallon freshwater tanks and a 30 gallon saltwater (which will be set up after the Holidays). No big tanks for now.
