I was just looking at my fish tank this morning (29 gallon) and I noticed a little panda cory swimming with my a couple of my other cories. I was very excited in a way to see this because Panda Cories are one of my favorite fish and these things sell for around $8 at the pet store. This is the...
Hey all I just added my shrimp and my fish didn't attack them! The shrimp would freak out when they got near one of my fish but the fish didn't do anything to them. :) Now they've all been finding cool hiding places. Well, except for one xD he is just swimming to the top of the tank and freaking...
I don't think I'll have a problem with the algae running out, I had barely any algae in my tank until I started dosing and added the extra light (which I started on Sunday and I put less than the recommended amount) and BAM my tank had a ton of algae in it by Tuesday. Hopefully I will be able to...
Its a 29 gallon tank. I already have a betta, 3 platies, a guppy (small), 6 glowlight tetras, 3 panda cories (plan on getting 2 more and they're always quite small), and plus the 2 otos and 2 mystery snails. I'm getting a shipment of 10 cherry shrimp that will hopefully be coming in on Wednesday...
Yeah, they do seem pretty useless. I'll definitely keep an eye out for them to see if they are eating any algae. I think they must be eating some because their stomachs look pretty full. I think I'll go out and get some more sometime next week.

I noticed my 2 mystery snails that I got on Sunday are always huddling up near each other. I haven't seen them on top of each other but are mystery snails just sociable with each other or do you think they could male and female and possibly mating or something?
My tank has lots of hiding places and I've seen a lot of fry hiding in my plants so I think that if fry can go about without them all being eaten then I think the shrimp will also be able to hide

My betta is pretty docile, it was a little timid with the platies at first but other than that he's been good

Alright thank you! I planned on getting 5 panda cory cats when I got them but I only had enough money for 3 at that time.
