Hey guys-anyone have an idea as to what this hitchhiker star is?

Yeah seem like zoas. I have a few in my tank now too. Here's a latest update shot of our little setup. Things are great. Water parameters are perfect and everything is thriving. Since last, we've added a bubble tip anemone, more zoas, some blasto morphs, a decora gobey and a pair of clowns.

Yep-he looks like this from what I can gather.

I noticed what I thought to be a new 'shadow' in the tank this morning and then I watched it moved-I'm guessing its a nudibranch? It's hiding again now so can't post a pic but its jet black. Rounded edge, rectangular thing with two little feeler joeys on the front end. About 5cm long and 2.5cm...

Also- have lucked in greatly with the bit of LR holding the new mushrooms-there is a small colony of zoanthids growing and doing really well chuffed with the addition!

Still going strong! I'm now 4 weeks into the cycle and all my water testing is pointing to 'ready for fish'. My last addition was a nice little piece of coral with some blue and purple mushrooms which are thriving as good as my orange ones! Also added a small hammer head coral which is loving...

Hopefully a good sign of health in my (still early) setup-these guys are flourishing.

I like it! So that's the algae growing at the back there right? What power head are you using? Is that a Tunze?

Abno do u have any pics of your setup to date? Im still learning to navigate this app and I'd love to see how you're going after 4 weeks of cycling now?

It'll get higher because only the H2O evaporates-the dissolved ions remain-so salt levels in the water stay the same while H2O levels decrease, hence the subsequent higher level of salinity in the remaining aquarium water.
