Sooo I found him.. I have this one weird plant that has long “branches” it’s kinda shrub like.. I saw one of my gourami “digging” into it and so I checked what he was doing.. he was eating the platy. I checked the plant before but completely missed him

Well I’d still like to give him a shot.. I suspected bacterial after the spot came up and bought a bacterial treatment. Should I treat the whole tank? Or keep him isolated and treat just his bag(I don’t have a hospital tank so I filled a gallon freezer bag and hung it in the tank with him)

UPDATE:: he has now developed a pale spot on his tail fin. It was hard to get a picture of it because you could o my see it if the light hit it.. I’ve isolated him for now.. I’m not sure what to do..

I did nearly a 50% water change three to four weeks ago and I was planning to be doing a 25% water change this week. None of my other fish are affected so I don’t know what it could be..

I brought home a small sailfin plecostomus a couple days ago, about 3 inches long. I bought him some algae wafers and when I fed the other fish I would drop a wafer in for him. One problem.. my sunburst platys. As soon as I I drop a wafer in and they're done with their fishy flakes they flock...

Okay thank you! I'll keep an eye on it. I don't think I have any females, I asked for all males, but I can't tell the difference so I can't say 100%. I'll definitely see if that will help if they continue to be bad.
