    Gourami- aggressive???

All of the gourami are 2.5"-3". So yes juvenile I would assume. I also just started a 150 gallon that I am waiting to cycle. Do you know of a website that provides a complete list of freshwater fish and suitable tank mates? Unfortunately there is a lot of conflicting information out there.

    Gourami- aggressive???

I have a 40 gallon tank that is currently stocked with 6 gourami. Filtration is not an issue, filtration unit is large enough for 100 gallon tank fully stocked. My question is what types of fish can also live peacefully with Gourami?

Thanks Rivercats, turned down the volume on air stones and increased volume on bubblers and that seemed to have solved the problem.

    How much is too much

In freshwater 2-3 times your tank capacity per hour saltwater 3-4 times your tank capacity per hour is recommended. So if you have a 40 gallon tank you want a minimum of 80 gph or max around 120 gph.

I have a forty gallon freshwater tank right now. All is good but I am looking for the most economical filtration system from an upkeep standpoint. It seems like all filters have specific cartridges, bags disintegrate after 3-4 weeks. Suggestions anyone?
