I have crushed coral substrate. There are some black aquaium gravel mixed in for color. I plan on getting morre live rock this week.

My clown fish stays in this one spot right near the top of the water except when eating. My other clown swims all over and interacts with the other fish and people watching. Whats that little guy doing?

I used play sand in mmy 20 gallon when I first started saltwater and I had black patches. All my fish died. :/ never found out what it was but did decide not to use tht type of sand again.

I have a question if anyone can answer. The 55 g tank I have. My fish got ich. I removed the fish over to the qt. Can ich grow/live in the substrate oand live rock. If so how do I treat or clean it?

We had a pair of clowns when he was put in the tank. He killed the small one then a few days later the biger one disapeared. Then we got 2 more clowns and now the small one is dead.

I was told this is a red striped gobie. Not convinced tho. He has more of a checkered patern.
