From what I've been researching and reading red-tails and rainbow sharks are a lot alike where it varies fish by fish....in constantly told do not put them together or with other sharks but then I've talke to people that have successfully had them together for many years....I've also read to not...
I don't know but I've had the same issues about tank mates....I've been asking multiple times and the only replys I've ever gotten is that you don't want another type if shark
Yea I like the idea of it...I actually a dog trainer at Petsmart and I know we have some kind of LED set ups there so ill have to check what kind...thanks!
I'm still in the process of figuring this stuff out so I don't have lights yet....my husband really wants LED but he just likes the look and hasn't actually done his research and from everything I'm reading LED is bad for plants....are there good ones you suggest
Hey there! I just got a 90 gallon about a week ago and I'm wanting to start it up...right now There's just water in it but I'm wanting to do a community/semi aggressive tank...so far this is the list I've come up with
1 rainbow shark
Rams ( not sure how many)
Angel fish( not sure how many)

Silver tipped sharks are brackish so I'd do some research on that first...and balas are schooling so you need at least 5 an on top of that they get huge so make sure you have a large enough tank :)
Rainbow sharks hate their own kind so I would only do one of those (love rainbow sharks so I've been doing research on them) but I like what else you have....I really wanted to so Angels and rainbow sharks but I was told that rainbows will eat live plants and that Angels need lots of plants...is...
I have a question. I have a new 90 gallon tank that I'm setting up and I really want to make it a medieval tank..I found a castle to put in but I really want to find a large dragon to add to it. I have a dragon figurine that would be perfect but I'm worried that it won't be safe because it is...
I got a 90 gallon as well that I was wanting something unique in also...my husband wanted piranhas but I kinda want something that I can have different type of fish in...let me know how it works out and what you choose!
