Brackish biotope- what would you do?

I have fake plants cause my puffers for some reason decided to tear my one real plant to test out. I use liveaquaria.com mostly but I usually just google sites to get more info. Real plants are very slim pickings cause of the salt lvls. I had to raise my lvl a bit so I can't have real plants...

    Filter for 75 gallon?

I have a 75g brackish and I have a eshopps wet/dry with a mag7 pump and a marineland 200 bio-wheel hob. Keep the water very clear and I only clean the filters out maybe once a month. Sometimes I go two months.

    wet/dry filter question.

It was coming from the over flow but when I moved the lid that the hose is hooked up to from the overflow box, it quit making noises. The lid sits at a slight angle so it doesn't make any noise.

    wet/dry filter question.

I tried that and it made it a little bit quit but still making the same noise. So was messing with last night and I actually rested the lid where the water comes out on one of the edges so its at a angle and now its quit. Now the other issue I have so much water flowing in it splashes out the...

    32g cichlid tank maybe?

I was wondering if there are any cichlids that could be fine in a 32g tank for long term? I debating either make that tank a salt or cichlid setup.

Question bout live plants and wood pieces in brackish.

Ive had my 32g brackish tank now for a few months and I'm planning upgrade to a 75g that is set up for a coral set up in a few months. I want to add live plants in there and some wood pieces and I was wondering if I could do that because of the salt?

how much salt to add for brackish

Kinda hard to give a exact amount, start off with bout 10-12 table spoon and measure after a day or two. If your still low, just keep on adding more salt.
