did a 25% yesterday and its at 1.022

bought a peppermint and within a week found him floatin around dead...everything else in tank is fine including my red star...what could have happened???

GOOD NEWS! he was purchased from the lfs and removed by one of the associates...my lfs is about 10 mins from house so i float acclimated the little guys since the lfs and my tank have almost exact water params, and he went from tank to tank in about 30 mins...good news though when i went home...

RECENTLY ADDED A RED SEA STAR TO MY TANK...ODD BEHAVIOR, DIDNT MOVE FOR FIRST 24, THEN WAS ALL OVER THE TANK MOVING EXTREMELY FAST FOR A COUPLE DAYS, NOW BACK TO A MOTIONLESS STATE. BUT HIS SMALL SUCTION CUPS ARE STILL OUT SLIGHTLY AND MOVE SLIGHTLY IN THE WATER MOTION...ANYBODY ELSE EVER...

only a 22 gal here so im only working with one powerhead...maybe i should adjust its angle somehow????

Recently on the top water level of my tank there has been formation of small bubbles along the inner glass and where the filter and surface skimmer enter the water...the power head is pointed toward the surface to cause disruption in the water, but the bubbles are still there??? all parameters...

got a better look at the action tonight and it appears that there are three flap looking appendiges with lack stuff that the guy consumes...??? very weird anyone can explain???

i have a emerald crab in my tank and while watching him the other day he kind of extended and this flap on his underside opened up and he began to pick stuff out and eat it??? anyone else seen this happen before??? pretty interesting...

what is the conversion of 12.5 mg/l nitrates to how many that is in ppm??? anybody know how to convert that? thanks!
