When i was using tap water my skimmer would go nuts with the chlorine remover.Just Dump the skimmer cup and restart .Do this until it stops.

when you see ammonia 0 and nitrite 0 then you should be done.i would do a 20% wc and check the levels 4-5 days later to make sure everything is still 0

Ok i just bought 3 turbo snails,and 10 hermit crabs how many more should i get .I will be getting some of those snails that stir the sand bed to.I have a bad out break of hair alage.But i dont want to add to many so they die when all the stuff is gone.Any other suggestions.Thanks Derrick Ps...

From what i hear from everyone is to have 1.5-2lbs per gal.And you will prob want to have atleast a 3" sand bed.I have 120lbs of lr and 80lbs of ls.But i will be adding more sand in the spring.hth
