    They are definitely sensitive. You have to take care not to stress them out too much or else they'll die. They have trouble when you transport them from one tank to another.

    I have a Hex 5 which is quiet after initial noise. Maintenance is a pain since you have to remove the light to and plastic shield in order to do maintenance. It's best that you use an air pump with these tanks since air circulation is minimal. These tanks do look pretty though. I returned a...

    Due to the limitations of my 50mm standard lens, I went out and got a 50mm macro lens to get closer. :) Here's is one of my first photos with the new lens.

    The pictures are only a few days apart, so you can see the mother about 18 hours before giving birth. I'm using a Canon EOS 10D with a variety of prime lenses, mostly a Canon 50mm f/1.8.
